Ruth Bratt

Ruth Bratt is an actress, comedian and writer. She is a founder member of Showstopper! The Improvised Musical, which was the first improvised show to win an Olivier award for its 2015 West End run. Showstopper is on tour throughout the UK, as well as in the West End and has performed at the Edinburgh Festival since 2008. With Lucy Trodd, she wrote and performed in two series of Trodd en Bratt Say Well Done You on BBC Radio 4 (Finalist in the BBC Audio Drama Awards for Best Comedy), and they also made a short film A Very Serious Game which has done the festivals circuit! She played Roche in five series and the film of the BAFTA winning People Just Do Nothing; other credits include Marion in Sarah Millican’s Support Group (BBC Radio 4), Man Down (C4), Cinderella : After Ever After (Sky), Ankle Tag (BBC Radio 4), Derek (C4), Party’s Over (BBC Radio 4), Mongrels (BBC3), Rob Brydon’s Annually Retentive (BBC3), Mrs Hudson’s Radio Show (BBC Radio 4). She is currently the voice of a doll for a series of Argos ads!
