Tickets & Booking
Do we need to buy tickets in advance, or can we buy them on the door?
You can purchase tickets on the door, but we recommend buying your tickets in advance through our website to secure your space.
Do you offer concession tickets?
Yes, we offer concessions for students, NHS staff (with NHS ID — Blue Light cards are not accepted), and seniors on most performances. Please bring valid ID when collecting concession tickets. Concessions are not available for the Saturday 6:30pm show.
Am I able to get a refund on my ticket?
We do offer refunds on a case-by-case basis, but the booking fee will be retained. Tickets are purchased on the basis that they are non-refundable. However, we are always able to offer the option of moving your tickets to a more suitable date, as long as they are for one of our in-house shows. If you have purchased your tickets through a third-party promoter, you will need to contact them to organise a refund.
How do I redeem my voucher?
You can redeem your voucher by contacting our box office at london@thecomedystore.co.uk, and they will be happy to help you book your tickets.
Arrival & Seating
What time should I arrive?
Doors open one hour before the show. Seating is unreserved, so we recommend arriving early for the best choice of seats, particularly for groups.
Am I able to reserve seats for my group?
No, our seating is first come, first served. If you are attending with a large group, we recommend arriving as early as possible to ensure you can all sit together.
What is the difference between Premium and Standard seating?
A Premium seat is located in the front row of our raised section, ensuring that nobody's head will block your view of the stage. Premium seating also includes a ledge where you can enjoy any drinks or food you purchase during the night.
What if I arrive late?
Don't worry, we don't lock the doors. You will be allowed entry no matter when you arrive. However, if the show is sold out, there is a likelihood that your group may be split up.
How long are your comedy shows?
Our in-house shows run for approximately 2 to 2½ hours, including an interval. For external shows, please check the respective websites for exact runtimes.
Accessibility
Do you offer companion/carer tickets?
Yes. If you require a carer or essential companion to attend and have a Nimbus Card, we will provide a complimentary ticket. Please contact london@thecomedystore.co.uk in advance to arrange this.
Is your venue access-friendly?
Yes. Access is via 27 steps with handrails or a chair lift, to which the user will need to transfer. A standard seat can be removed for wheelchair users, or guests can transfer into a house seat. Aisle seats can be reserved, and an induction loop is available in the balcony. For more information, please take a look at our access page. Where is The Comedy Store?
The Comedy Store is located in the heart of London at 1a Oxendon Street, London, SW1Y 4EE. It is an easy walk from Piccadilly Circus or Leicester Square tube stations. Do you have a cloakroom?
Yes, we have a cloakroom where you can store anything from jackets to suitcases for £1. We ask that all bags bigger than A4 size are put into the cloakroom on arrival.
Are children allowed?
No. Due to our licensing, all shows are 18+. Please bring ID if you are lucky enough to look younger than 25.
Food & Drink
Can we bring our own food or drink into the venue?

Can I get a birthday shout-out during the show?
No, our comedians don't take special requests. However, if you sit near the front, there is a high chance that the MC will talk with you.
