An Evening with Jo Brand and Friends in support of the Katie Piper Foundation

10 Sep

Comedy Royalty and legend Jo Brand along with her comedy friends host a night of Stand Up for Burns Survivors. Jo has been delivering side-splitting laughs for multiple decades and is long established as one of the UK’s best comics. Renowned for her stand-up with regular appearances on TV shows such as Qi, Would I Lie To You?, Have I Got News for You, Taskmaster and of course host of The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice (Channel 4) for eight years! You’ll be hard-pressed to find someone who hasn’t laughed at one of her signature dry quips over the years. Jo will be joined by a host of comedy friends including Laura Smyth and Andy Askins (with more still to be announced) with the incredibly talented Lee Peart acting as MC for the evening. It’s a night you won’t want to miss!

All funds raised from the show will go to support the Katie Piper Foundation – The Burns Rehabilitation Charity, who support survivors who have endured life-altering burns and traumatic scarring, founded in 2009 by fellow Burns Survivor – Katie Piper OBE. The charity aims to enhance the quality of life for survivors by helping them rebuild their lives by addressing physical, mental and emotional needs through a comprehensive and personalised package of rehabilitation and support. Rehabilitation is long-term and for many survivors – it is simply life-transforming.

“Who knows what my future would have been like without the Katie Piper Foundation? With the support I have had, I am now living the life I had only ever imagined for myself. I owe the Katie Piper Foundation my life”.
