Sol Bernstein
Fast talking Brooklyn veteran comic Sol Bernstein is the brainchild of ex-singer, songwriter and gentlemen’s hairdresser STEVE JAMESON
The character continues to wow comedy clubs all over the world and had a sell out run at the Edinburgh Festival 2014. He also appeared in the final of the Old Comedians of the Year Final in 2015
He has performed at The Purcell Room on London’s South Bank, The Hackney Empire, The Comedy Store, Jongleurs, and is a regular on London’s Comedy Scene. He’s also performed at most of the Major out of town venues, toured Holland, South Africa, and Croatia.
Steve Jameson was resident compere at the Hampstead Comedy Club from 1994-1998, and ran the long established MECCANO CLUB in Islington, North London.
He has featured in Cadbury’s Fuse Bar and Butterkist Popcorn TV Commercials in the UK, and Commercials in Germany and Denmark. Also 2 series of the HARRY HILL SHOW on Channel 4 and The Stand Up Show on BBC 1.
Featured as “UNCLE SID” opposite ANDREW SACHS in BBC 2′s Autumn drama series “ATTACHMENTS” and LEO SPENCER in the movie “SUZIE GOLD” with SUMMER PHOENIX.
He also performed “I Only Wanna Hear Good” in the 2009 Fringe Festival.
Also appeared on Paramount TV’s Edinburgh and Beyond.
