Shazia Mirza
In 2003, Shazia Mirza was listed in The Observer as one of the 50 funniest acts in British comedy. She has performed her sell out shows worldwide at the Sodra Teatern in Sweden and The Arosa Comedy Festival in Switzerland. She was won several awards including the 2001 Hackney Empire Best New Act at The London Comedy Festival.
Mirza has written and presented the following TV shows "10 Things you always wanted to know about Islam (But were afraid to ask)," "Have I got News for You," and a talking head on "The 100 worst Pop songs." In the United States she was profiled on "60 Minutes" and Comedy Central's "The World Stands Up."
