Sally Hodgkiss
Sally is an actor and improviser living in London, England. She has been improvising for several years and has performed short form and long form in various guises including Harolds, Armandos, Bats, improvised musicals, and improvathons amongst others, and she frequently plays in organic long form improv shows around the UK. Sally performed with ComedySportz Manchester in the UK and the USA, as well as appearing in Catch23, the Liverpool Improvathon, The Playground, Hoopla, Emotion Play, as well as guesting in other London shows. She currently performs with The Committee, The Science of Living Things, and is joint Artistic Director of Sonder, a new improv theatre company. As an actor Sally has performed in several short films, as well as writing and performing in her own filmed sketches. Sally regularly works in theatre, performing in a range of theatres all across the UK including HOME Manchester, The Manchester Royal Exchange, the Sheffield Crucible, Northern Stage, the Arcola, and the Bolton Octagon amongst others. Sally recently attended the Royal College of Art where she developed an interest in performance art, and she now uses her own writing to inform her performances and pieces of installation art. Sally is currently the Artist in Residence for the Octagon Theatre Bolton for 2017-2018 and will be curating and creating several theatrical pieces and art installations over the next 18 months.
