Paul Taylor
Paul Taylor is a British comedian born to an English dad and an Irish mum and currently lives in Paris.
From an early age, Paul was exposed to other cultures and languages as he was raised in France,
Switzerland, Spain and England.
As a result he is fluent in English, French and Spanish. Naturally, Paul chose to study French and Spanish at the University of London and once he graduated, he packed up his bags and moved to Paris in 2009 to pursue a career at Apple.
While he was working as a training instructor at Apple, Paul wanted to try his hand at stand-up comedy and
from January 2013, he started to perform on English-speaking comedy shows in Paris such as the New
York Comedy Night at the SoGymnase and the French Fried Comedy Night at the Paname Art Café. Paul’s
work at Apple allowed him to travel frequently and he took this opportunity to perform abroad in multiple
cities in the USA, in Spain and even in China.
After several years of juggling between his job and the stage, Paul finally decided to quit his job at
Apple in May 2015 to fully pursue his passion and attempt to make a career out of making people laugh.
He then took a gamble by creating a bilingual solo-show called #FRANGLAIS. He drew his inspiration from
his daily life and shared with his audience, in both French and English, his hilarious experiences of a British
expat in France and his unique take on French cultural habits
