With over 300 million views of his stand-up online, Daliso Chaponda rose to fame as a finalist on Britain’s Got Talent (2017), quickly becoming a fan favourite with both the judges and the public. His sharp wit, charismatic delivery, and unique perspective have since made him a mainstay on the UK comedy and broadcasting scene.

Daliso has made numerous appearances on major TV shows including Have I Got News For You (BBC One), QI (BBC Two), Celebrity Pointless (BBC One – Winner), The Royal Variety Performance (ITV), The Apprentice: You’re Fired (BBC Two), and Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions (ITV). He’s also featured on Comedy Central (The Complaints Department, Rhod Gilbert’s Growing Pains) and Dave (Unforgivable), among others.

A gifted writer and storyteller, Daliso is the creator and host of the Rose d’Or-nominated BBC Radio 4 series Citizen of Nowhere. His recent work includes The Exploding Library (BBC Radio 4), and regular appearances on The News Quiz, Just A Minute, and The Now Show (BBC Radio 4). His voice is a familiar one across BBC Sounds and podcast platforms, with credits including The Ultimate Choice, Evil Genius, and You Heard It Here First.

Daliso’s stand-up career is truly global. He has performed at major festivals including Edinburgh, Melbourne, Singapore, and Cape Town, and has completed four nationwide UK tours, consistently playing to sold-out audiences. His latest tour show, Feed This Black Man, Again, received rave reviews.
