David also features as team captain on ITV2’s ‘Safeword’ alongside Katherine Ryan and Rick Edwards. His love of the small screen and popular culture led him being featured in the BBC’s online coverage of the Eurovision Song Contest, many talking-head shows and a regular panellist spot on Big Brother’s Bit On The Side.
When this TV enthusiast isn’t being on/tweeting about/watching television, he’s travelling up and down the country performing stand up at the UK’s most prestigious clubs.
Has has performed solo shows at comedy festivals in Edinburgh, Harrogate and Glasgow and a weekend run at London’s Soho Theatre.
These solo shows and David’s ability to make audiences ‘feel they’ve had a show performed specifically for them’ (London is Funny) cements him as a firm favourite in the industry. He is in fact, resident compere for cult hit Comedy Blind Date at Leicester’s Comedy Festival.
2014’s solo show was titled ‘Social Tool’, which David took to the Edinburgh Fringe for a full run. Broadway Baby said “David Morgan’s greatest strength and what makes him such an enjoyable comedian to watch is his seemingly innate ability to interact and connect with his audience.”
Due to David’s brilliant skills, he was asked to host the special one-off charity show ‘Take A Comedian Out’ at the Pleasance Grand, to an audience of 750 with a total of 35 comedians taking part.
