A Clearer Way to Price Tickets at The Comedy Store London
We’re making a small change to how our ticket prices are structured—designed to make things simpler, clearer, and more transparent for everyone booking with us.
What’s changing?
- We’ve removed the £1 per order fee
- We’ve increased the per-ticket price by 50p
That’s it, no hidden extras, no surprises at checkout.
Why are we making this change?
This update is in line with new guidance from the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), which is focused on improving transparency in ticket pricing. The aim is to make sure that the price you see upfront better reflects what you’ll actually pay—without additional fees being added later in the booking process.
What does this mean for you?
For most people, there’s no real change in what you pay.
- If you typically book two tickets, your total cost will remain almost exactly the same.
- If you’re booking a single ticket, you’ll actually pay slightly less than before.
In other words, this change simplifies pricing without increasing costs for the majority of our audience—and even benefits solo bookers.
Why this matters
We want booking tickets at The Comedy Store to be as straightforward as possible. By removing per-order fees and folding costs into the ticket price, we’re making it easier to understand exactly what you’re paying from the moment you choose your seats.
No per-order fees Just great comedy, clearly priced.
If you have any questions about the change, feel free to get in touch—and as always, we look forward to welcoming you for a brilliant night of live comedy.
