Stand Up for The Comedy School

16 Nov 2021

On the evening of Tuesday 16th November 2021, award-winning comedian Adam Hills (The Last Leg) will join Arthur Smith, Dane Baptiste, John Moloney, Athena Kugblenu and other top comedians for The Comedy School`s annual Benefit to help raise vital funds for our Wellbeing Project.

Founded in 1998, The Comedy School is a unique organisation which uses the so often underestimated power of comedy to run training and education projects in schools, prisons, rehabilitation centres and mental health institutions.  Our work helps address serious social issues whilst also offering opportunities for personal development, guiding young people excluded from the education system, nurturing the talents of comedy enthusiasts and training aspiring professionals in the comedy field.  Founder Keith Palmer MBE and his team strive to stimulate personal creativity and help develop social skills and have positively touched the lives of numerous people over the past 23 years.

The Covid-19 pandemic has presented a very challenging 18 months for The Comedy School as we are called upon to help even more individuals in our communities who are struggling with their Mental Health
